"I love the residents here at Drexel Horizon. The property is very clean and well maintained. I knew from my first day here that I would enjoy working in such an inviting environment. There is a strong need in our society for affordable housing that addresses the needs of our seniors. When you rent an apartment here, you not only are enjoying a beautiful place to live but have a lot of social activities to enjoy as well. There is always someone to sit and talk to in the Lobby or Library – residents can even light a fire in the fireplace and work quietly on a puzzle or read one of the many books available. In the early morning, a crowd gathers in the Community Room to discuss current events, share personal stories and drink coffee. On Wednesday nights, some of our male residents meet in the Game Room to play pool and watch a favorite game show on the big screen TV. There is something for everyone and you can be as social or private as you choose. My biggest reward comes from hearing the residents tell me how much they enjoy it here at Drexel Horizon and that they feel they always have someone looking out for them."
